Worship Services
Our Mission:
Equipping the Saints to seek and serve Christ in all people.
During worship, we gather as a community to turn our hearts toward God together. In the Episcopal Church, worship follows the ancient practices of a structured liturgy. We read Scripture, hear sermons that apply it to our lives, spend time in common prayer, and affirm our common faith. We celebrate the saving grace of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection in the Holy Eucharist, the sacrament of the Last Supper. Then we are sent forth renewed, to love and serve the Lord. Come worship with us!
SUNDAY WORSHIP
- 8:00am: A quiet and contemplative service of Holy Communion with Scripture readings, prayers, and sermon. There is no music during this time.
- 10:15am: Our main service, which includes Holy Communion, music and choir, Scripture readings, sermon, and prayers. Children are welcome to sit with their parents or to attend children’s chapel during the service. This service is also livestreamed.
Nursery is available during the 9am Formation hour and the 10:15am service.
During our program year (September through May):
- Formation for all ages: 9:00 - 10:00am (between services)
- Choir sings during the 10:15am service
WEEKDAY WORSHIP
We offer Morning Prayer via Zoom every weekday at 9:00am.
We also gather at other special times throughout the year. Stay tuned for announcements about upcoming worship opportunities!
********************************
Our community celebrates many milestones with our members, including baptisms, weddings, confirmations, funerals, prayers for healing and Holy Eucharist in the home, and other special services.
Baptism: Baptism is the rite of Christian Initiation and the official joining of the church for those who have never been Christians. We often baptize our children and welcome adults who have never been baptized into our community. If you have been baptized but would like to formally join the church, please read about confirmation below. If you are interested in baptism at All Saints’, please contact a member of the clergy.
Confirmation: is a rite of mature commitment to faith, which includes laying on of hands by the Bishop. Young people beginning in 10th grade through adults are welcome to be confirmed; those joining the church from another Christian tradition are also received into our church through Confirmation rites. To learn more, please contact a member of the clergy.
Weddings: If you would like to get married at All Saints’, please contact the clergy for more information.
Funerals: We believe every funeral to be a celebration of the promise of resurrection. In addition, All Saints' Memorial Garden is available as a final resting place for members of the parish. To make plans for a funeral and/or burial, please contact a member of the clergy or the Parish Administrator.
Anointing of the Sick: Our clergy regularly visit those who are sick and/or homebound. Additionally, we have a ministries of Pastoral Care Team, who seek to provide support where needed, and Lay Eucharistic Visitors who bring communion to individuals unable to attend services in person. Please contact the clergy for more information.
